Introduction to Public Banking

The Columbia Economics Society is co-sponsoring an event on Public Banking with the Columbia Political Union. This event is meant to inform Columbia students about public banking and provide an opportunity to ask questions. The panel will feature distinguished experts in public banking and related fields, offering diverse perspectives on the topic. Information on the panelists is provided below:

Geeta Minocha: Columbia Law School Alumna, Executive Director of the Public Banking Institute 
Andres Bernal: Adjunct Professor at CUNY and Co-host of the Funny Money Podcast
Michael Brennan: Lead Policy Organizer for the Democracy Policy Network and Director of the Public Banking Institute
Rohan Grey: Associate Professor of Law at Willamette University College of Law, President of Modern Money Network
