Columbia Economics Society invites you to join our annual PhD Panel with Amanda Awadey, Eugene Larsen-Hallock, Miguel Acosta and Tatyana Avilova. These four PhD students have engaged in research projects in Development Economics, Macroeconomic Policy, Behavioral Economics and Finance, and the Economics of Health and Education.

The event will be held on December 3rd at 7pm. Our guest speakers will share insights into their respective segments of economic research and the PhD career in general. We’ll cover everything from traditional and untraditional paths to a PhD, the methodology of data collection and processing in the field, macroeconomic schools of thought, and the challenges of pursuing economic research.
